NO DESIGN

At NO Design, every piece is handmade from wool out of my studio in Bellinghan, WA. NO Design has multi-meaning. It's my initials. It means I design these rugs. It means these rugs are often one-offs and not repeated. It means I often draw directly onto tufting fabric without pre-designing.

As a diasporan Armenian, making pieces out of sheep's wool helps me stay connected to my culture, while also sharing my retro American influences. From abstract to symbolic, I hope these pieces help your space be an extension of your story.
